national day celebration today was like a piece of..sh*t! oh my i will never waste my precious sleeping time for such functions ever again! basically we just went to school to watch a movie (or rather, a video clip) and sit under the hot sun, at the parade square for a picnic! oh my..what a great idea eh? the video clip i dont mind, cos at least its sth rather interesting but! the picnic..it was a disaster..the national day celebrations committee just dont have any brains! they didnt have any back up plans for a rainy day..what the.apart from that, there was this 'singapore gaga' thing whereby they just announced the winners and play the songs the winners composed! *shakes head* couldnt they just use abit of their brains and at least..let those peeps perform on stage or sth?

really, sometimes i have no slightest idea what the aj students' council is for.the teachers claim that the council is a more prestigious cca and that they deserve all the recognition (which actually doesnt exist in aj council) because they do far more work than the rest of the students. ok, maybe they do loads more than us. but why isnt there any form of results from their hardwork? at least the fruits of labour are seen for all the other ccas..be it medals from competitions in the case of the performing arts or tournaments in the case of sports. but all that the councillors do are give out brochures for events like Parent Teacher Meeting sessions and usher guests during important functions. (of cos in their turquiose/light blue blazers -.- oh well, the cheery looking blazer complements our dull uniform.eeks.) i remember the rv councillors slogging all the time..and the plenty of mini concerts for all sorts of events, talenttime and such, though not all the time wonderful, were at least presentable. they get their equal percentage of recognition as well. and of cos not forgetting the sa councillors! sa council is really a BIG thumbs up. nothing can be said, you must join the school to feel the spirit of the councillors and the whole school cohort. servant leaders~

i have a feeling i'm gonna get banished by typing all these. *shudders* i am not trying to compare schools to emphasize on the type of service aj council is giving. but they ought to be more active. really. at least show the school that the council is alive and is doing their job.that should be more than enough.

on a lighter note, went to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory just now. errrr, it's not THAT impressive though. it's not the 'WOW' type, rather the 'wah lau' type. haha. though there were still parts that were funny. the rest of it was just plain lame. ok, maybe i was quite affected by the negative comments yanxi gave. but i still love the squirrels the most anyway.*shrugs*

*sighs* it's already the third day of the five day holiday. *scrrreeeaams* i dont wanna go to school! i cant wait to get promoted and get over and done with jc life. wait, i want to get promoted.
